Job Description:
- Translate prescriptions filled out by the MDO and enter them on the patient's profile.
- Look for patient's allergies, therapies, and current medication on different forms and enter them on the patient profile history.
- Verify all information is complete on the Rx and ensure all necessary information is entered on the patient's profile.
- Follow all necessary guidelines to ensure laws and regulations are adhered to.
- Vary work duties according to business needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Translate prescriptions filled out by the MDO and enter them on the patient's profile.
- Enter prescriptions from an imaged prescription within an order status. Enter any necessary supplies in accordance with state regulations and any new allergy, medications, or health conditions identified.
- Look for patient's allergies, therapies, and current medication on different forms and enter them on the patient profile history.
- Pre-QA Technicians - Perform the initial entry (translation) of the prescription from an imaged prescription within a referral status. Input any allergy, medications, or health condition information on the referral into the patient's profile.
- Verify all information is complete on the Rx and ensure all necessary information is entered on the patient's profile.
- Responsible for good housekeeping techniques, adhering to quality and production standards while complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental programs and procedures.
