We are looking for a versatile and organised individual to join our team at Labcentral.co.uk. This is a varied role that supports our primary business as well as our partner brands, ILS and Tableform.co.uk. You will play a key part in the daily operations of the business, ensuring orders flow smoothly from the website to the courier and that our accounts remain up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Processing: Manage the end-to-end processing of web and phone orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Logistics & Dispatch: Physically pack and dispatch orders, ensuring goods are protected and sent via the correct courier services.
- Customer & Supplier Liaison: Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email. You will also communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries and products.
- Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, perform stock checks, and handle reordering to ensure product availability.
- Financial Administration: Utilise Sage 50 (or similar accounting software) to maintain orders and purchases.
- Accounting Software: Experience with Sage 50 is highly preferred, though experience with other accounts packages will be considered.
- E-commerce Experience: We use WordPress and WooCommerce; experience isn’t essential but we’d ideally like someone who would be keen to learn how to use these.
- Communication: Excellent customer service skills with a professional telephone manner and clear written communication.
- Organisation: The ability to multitask between physical packing duties and office administration.
- Knowledge of Google Ads and SEO principles: This would be a distinct advantage to help support our digital marketing efforts.
