We are seeking an experienced and reliable Support Worker to join the team! Marske Hall, a 17th-century Manor House, stands proudly in the beautiful village of Marske-By-The-Sea, Redcar. Close to the local promenade and beaches and with extensive gardens, Marske Hall has been purposely adapted to ensure the people we support can live an active and full life. With 30 bedrooms across 2 floors, Marske Hall has retained many of the original features of the Manor house. With support from our dedicated staff, people can enjoy this wonderful building and our gardens with BBQ area and enjoy activities in the wider community. Marske Hall supports adults with a physical disability or long-term neurological conditions.
What You’ll be Doing
- Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
- Support residents in developing and maintaining their independence.
- Help residents with meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Ensure a safe and clean-living environment for residents.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as a support worker.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- NVQ2 in Health and Social Care & First aid Trained.
