What You’ll be Doing
- The Complex Support Manager has overall management responsibility for the development, delivery, and quality of services supporting individuals with complex behaviours and high levels of need.
- The role leads on Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), workforce development, quality assurance, and the set-up and management of new complex services, ensuring safe, compliant, and person-centred support.
- The post holder is accountable for outcomes, stability, and continuous improvement across their services.
What You’ll Need
- Advanced knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support, functional assessment, and behaviour analysis.
- Strong understanding of CQC frameworks, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
- Significant management experience within complex care or specialist support services.
- Proven experience managing services supporting behaviours that challenge.
- Experience setting up and stabilizing new complex services.
- Ability to identify, assess, and respond effectively to risk and complexity.
- Ability to challenge poor practice constructively and professionally.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in complex situations.
- Demonstrates effective leadership in high-pressure and complex environments.
- Applies values-based decision-making to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
- Maintains service stability through effective management of risk and change.
