We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Assistant to join the team!

The Riders 19-bed (all ensuite) residential care home with nursing. Offering 24-hour nursing support and specialist care for dementia and physical disabilities, including respite care, in a safe, and homely environment.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Help with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Support the Chef and kitchen staff as needed

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Assistant, preferably in a care home or similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of dietary needs and restrictions
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Great communication skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality service
