We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Assistant to join the team!
The Riders 19-bed (all ensuite) residential care home with nursing. Offering 24-hour nursing support and specialist care for dementia and physical disabilities, including respite care, in a safe, and homely environment.
What You’ll be Doing
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Support the Chef and kitchen staff as needed
What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Assistant, preferably in a care home or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of dietary needs and restrictions
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Great communication skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality service
