We are looking for compassionate and skilled Team Leader to help our residents lead fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals. Marston Court is a home situated in the East area of Leicester and is close to all amenities. We are a 22 bedded residential care home that provides 24 hour care for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. We also support individuals on a dementia care pathway. We provide high quality care and a safe environment that promotes choice, dignity, control and quality of life.
What You’ll be Doing
- Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
- Support residents in developing and maintaining their independence.
- Help residents with meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Ensure a safe and clean-living environment for residents.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as a support worker.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- NVQ2 in Health and Social Care & First aid Trained.
