Make A Difference Everyday
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team at a 19 bedded residential home. Our facility specializes in providing care for individuals with physical disabilities, dementia and respite care.
What you’ll be Doing:
- Provide personalized care and support to residents
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation
- Implement and follow individualized care plans
- Support residents in developing social skills and participating in community activities
- Manage challenging behaviour with patience and professionalism
- Monitor and report on residents' progress and well-being
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
What You’ll Need:
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- A caring and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to helping others
- Experience working with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Challenging behaviour
- Qualifications such as Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 In Health Social Care
- Must be trained in Moving Handling
