The Cedars are a 12 bedded residential home that specialise in care for individuals with Learning disabilities, mental health needs and early-onset dementia. We are looking for dedicated and experienced Support workers to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and mentor a team of support workers to deliver exceptional care
  • Develop, implement and review person-centred care plans
  • Provide practical and emotional support with daily living, personal care, and activities
  • Monitor outcomes and document changes in care or wellbeing
  • Liaise with families, professionals, and colleagues to ensure consistent, tailored support
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, policies, and CQC standards
  • Support the onboarding and training of junior staff

What You’ll Need

  • Previous experience in a senior support working role
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
  • Must be Medication Administration trained
  • Strong supervision and communication skills
  • Excellent care planning & record keeping experience
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and nights if required
