Douglas House is a 30-bedded dementia residential home specialising in supporting people who have varying needs as a result of physical and long-term neurological conditions, including cancer care, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, epilepsy, brain injury, Huntington's disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, spina bifida & hydrocephalus, and stroke.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Support Worker to join the team!

What You'll be Doing:

  • Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Support residents in developing and maintaining their independence.
  • Help residents with meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Ensure a safe and clean living environment for residents.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 1+ years' experience as a support worker.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
