Apna House is a 25 bedded residential home, providing exceptional care to individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team! Your role will be crucial in helping our residents lead fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals.

What you’ll be Doing:

  • Provide overnight care and support to Service Users
  • Monitor residents' well-being and respond to their needs
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care guidelines
  • Feeding residents and assisting to bathroom overnight
  • Collaborate with the night & day team to deliver continuity of care

What You’ll Need:

  • Great communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to helping others
  • Experience working with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Challenging behaviour
  • Qualifications such as Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 In Health & Social Care
  • Must be trained in Moving & Handling
  • Valid UK driving license is not essential but desirable
