Apna House is a 25 bedded residential home, providing exceptional care to individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team! Your role will be crucial in helping our residents lead fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals.
What you’ll be Doing:
- Provide overnight care and support to Service Users
- Monitor residents' well-being and respond to their needs
- Maintain accurate records and follow care guidelines
- Feeding residents and assisting to bathroom overnight
- Collaborate with the night & day team to deliver continuity of care
What You’ll Need:
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- A caring and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to helping others
- Experience working with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Challenging behaviour
- Qualifications such as Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 In Health & Social Care
- Must be trained in Moving & Handling
- Valid UK driving license is not essential but desirable
