Apna House is part of a group of homes that benefits from the support of a comprehensive multi disciplinary team. This arrangement provides support and supervision in the delivery of care allowing for a clinical perspective to be considered when challenges or complications in care delivery are encountered.

We are seeking Support Workers to join the team!

What You’ll be Doing

  • Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Support residents in developing and maintaining their independence.
  • Help residents with meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a support worker.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • NVQ2 in Health and Social Care & First aid Trained.
