We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our team!

At Apna House our highly experienced and trained staff work to support people who have a wide range of mental health needs, from mild anxiety and depression, to severe and enduring mental health problems.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Assist the Manager in the day-to-day operations of the residential home
  • Lead and support the care team to deliver high-quality care
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and Safeguarding standards
  • Develop and implement care plans
  • Conduct staff training and development
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents and staff

What You'll Need

  • Driving License is required – must be able to drive
  • Minimum of NVQ Level 3 and willing to work towards their level 5 in Health and Social Care
  • Minimum of 5- years' experience working in a similar environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Flexibility and ability to share on call in 24hr working environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations (CQC and best practices
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care
