The Integrated Family Healthcare GPFederation is seeking one or more GPs to support in the delivery of a new ADHD service locally in Hastings. The service will offer an alternative for patients age 16+ awaiting a diagnosis of ADHD, under the right to choose pathway.
We are recruiting GP(s) who will play a central role in the diagnosis of ADHD for patients who have been triaged as lower complexity referrals. This role will involve carrying out structured appointments, initiating and titrating medication and supporting patients through stabilisation. Full training will be provided including UKAAN diagnostic training, and SPFT led ADHD assessment training to ensure that clinicians are fully supported and competent in this role.
Alongside providing diagnostic care, GPs would be expected to provide a holistic approach to assisting patients in making meaningful changes to their lifestyle, to help improve patients' wellbeing.

- Initiate, monitor and titrate medication adhering to clinical protocols.
- Document care accurately within the patient record using electronic clinical systems.
- Liaise with ADHD service delivery manager and care coordinators to manage workload.
- Contribute to case discussion in MDT format, clinical governance and service development meetings with appropriate wider team members.
Integrated Family Healthcare is a GP-owned organisation that works closely with Hastings and St Leonards Primary Care Network (PCN) to deliver services at scale on behalf of our local Practices. Our primary focus is to support the delivery of the DES (Directed Enhanced Service) through the PCN. We comprise of 8 GP Practices, serving a diverse population of 100,000 patients.

- GMC registered General Practitioner.
- Interest in ADHD and mental health conditions.
- Experience in working with structured assessment protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- IT literate and experience with working within a clinical system.
- Prior experience in ADHD, mental health or other extended GP roles.
- Prior experience in using ADHD diagnostic tools.
- Understanding and interest of wider issues with neurodivergent patients and Autism.
