We're looking for a Receptionist/Administrator to be the welcoming face of our busy GP practice and a key part of keeping our patient services running smoothly. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be on the frontline of patient care, working with a compassionate team that values professionalism, confidentiality, and top-tier service. This role would be ideal for a person who has previous experience in a care environment or someone with good experience as an administrator.
What You'll Do:
- Greet and check-in patients with warmth and professionalism
- Book appointments and manage phone, email, and face-to-face queries
- Process prescription requests and update patient records accurately
- Handle payments, post, faxes, emails, and other administrative tasks
- Keep the reception area and consulting rooms tidy and well-stocked
- Manage patient registrations and support online service queries
- Send referral forms and liaise with hospitals and community services
- Maintain absolute confidentiality and comply with data protection laws
