The Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Nurse/Advanced Practitioner to join our team at our Herstmonceux Health Centre during an exciting period of growth. This is a leadership role where you will combine advanced clinical practice with team management, supporting nurses and healthcare assistants across our practice. This role offers the chance to shape services, support innovation, and be part of our journey as we move into a purpose-built, modern practice designed to enhance patient experience and staff wellbeing.
- Provide leadership and oversight for practice nurses and HCAs, ensuring compliance with CQC, IPC, and clinical governance standards.
- Manage chronic disease clinics and health promotion initiatives, improving QOF performance.
- Collaborate with practice managers and clinical leads to identify population health needs and implement service improvements.
- Support training and career progression in partnership with our Learning & Experience team.
What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrable advanced practice experience, ideally as an ANP or ACP.
- Experience in primary care or general practice (urgent care experience considered if transferable).
- Family planning and women's health qualifications.
