We are looking for a proactive and organised Medical Secretary to join our Allied Medical Practice team, working across our School House and Church Surgery sites. This role is essential in supporting our clinical team and ensuring we continue to deliver excellent patient care every day.
As our Medical Secretary, you will play a key part in maintaining smooth administrative processes, managing clinical correspondence, and providing vital support for both patients and colleagues. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Processing clinical dictation
- Managing referrals via pro-forma
- Following up hospital bookings and completing associated admin
- Scheduling appointments
- Handling telephone enquiries and supporting patients
- Processing electronic correspondence
- Managing payments and invoices
- Scanning and digital record keeping
- Accurately completing computer data entry
- Communicating effectively with patients and colleagues
- Supporting the wider practice team and working to deadlines
