The role
Were looking for a flexible and motivated Dental Nurse / Dental Receptionist to join our Emergency Out of Hours Dental Service.This hybrid role is vital in supporting both clinical and reception functions, helping patients feel reassured and cared for while ensuring smooth practice operations.Youll provide chair-side support during emergency procedures, maintain infection control, and welcome patients at reception, managing appointments, payments, and queries.
Working Hours –
Weekdays 17:30pm – 10:30pm
Weekends and Bank Holidays – 9:00am – 5:30pm
What youll need
- Registration with the General Dental Council, or working towards it
- A recognised Dental Nurse qualification (or working towards)
- Previous experience in a busy dental practice (clinical and/or reception)
- Excellent communication skills with a professional, caring manner
- Strong IT and administrative skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and stay calm and supportive
