The Role

Receptionist duties:
- Welcoming patients with compassion and ensuring confidentiality.
- Handling a variety of patient needs, including appointment booking, comfort calls, and dealing with sensitive situations.
- You will need excellent empathy and strong IT skills to navigate systems while offering support, especially in moments of distress.
- Ensuring two-way communication with the call centres to ensure efficient operations.
- Accurate record keeping.
Driver duties:
- Conduct vehicle and equipment checks and safely transport clinicians to home visits where they will provide essential care.
- You may also be accompanying clinicians into patient homes.
- Ensuring correct use of equipment and vehicles at all times.

IC24 is committed to improving access to health and social care for our patients and reducing the demand on secondary care services. IC24 provides services to over 6 million patients, including GP led out-of-hours services, NHS 111, primary care, and secondary care support services.
Location: Thurrock, Southend, Basildon, Broomfield Chelmsford. Flexibility to cover our other bases where needed. As part of your normal responsibilities, you could be required to work at any of these locations when required.
Hours Available: Bank - Flexible Shifts. You must be able to drive both Automatic and Manual vehicles as our IC24 cars are a mixture of both!
