This exciting dual role involves being the first point of contact for patients, maintaining their confidentiality, and providing transport for GPs to visit patients in the Norfolk and Waveney locality. It requires empathy, IT skills, and a clean manual driving license.

Main duties of the job include:

  • Welcoming patients upon arrival at a dedicated base and ensuring their confidentiality is maintained.
  • Providing transport to GPs on visits around the locality.
  • Making comfort calls to patients and booking appointments.
  • Handling calls about possible bereavements, requiring empathy and IT skills.
  • Conducting vehicle and medical equipment checks.
  • Using an IC24 car to transport clinicians to patient homes.

Location: Norfolk and Waveney

Hours Available: Bank hours available during our out of hours period (Monday-Friday 18:30-08:00 and 24/7 through weekends and bank holidays).
