We're looking for a Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our busy GP practices and play a vital role in ensuring our patient services run smoothly. This is a dynamic and rewarding position where no two days are the same. You'll be at the heart of patient care, working alongside a supportive team that values professionalism, confidentiality, and exceptional service. This role is perfect for someone with previous experience in a healthcare setting or strong administrative skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- Warmly greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive first impression
- Book appointments and manage queries via phone, email, and in person
- Process prescription requests and accurately update patient records
- Handle payments, post, emails, and other administrative tasks
- Keep reception and consulting areas tidy and well-stocked
- Manage patient registrations and assist with online service queries
- Send referral forms and liaise with hospitals and community services
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations
