Rare role at the intersection of nature and business, helping banks, corporates, and consultancies act on biodiversity risk using the world's leading biodiversity data platform. The IBAT Biodiversity Engagement and Outreach Officer will contribute to addressing one of the most urgent global sustainability challenges, the biodiversity crisis, by supporting businesses and financial institutions to integrate biodiversity into their sustainability strategies and wider decision-making.

Working at the forefront of the business and biodiversity space, this role helps deliver practical, data-driven solutions through IBAT, the world’s leading biodiversity data platform. We are looking for a motivated individual to play a central role in driving IBAT’s growth and impact through a combination of business development and customer success, ensuring that IBAT is delivering value by enabling organisations to integrate biodiversity considerations into decision-making around sustainability and wider business objectives.

How you will do this:

The role is hosted by IBAT Alliance Partner BirdLife International but will be fully placed in the IBAT Secretariat.

Location: Cambridge, UK (hybrid working, maximum one week per month in Cambridge)

Salary: £35,000 per annum depending on skills/experience, plus competitive 12% pension benefit
