The Role

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Sales Estimator to join the team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on, high-impact estimating role where you will price live fabrication projects and develop a robust, competitive pricing structure to support the sales function.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reviewing tender packs, Engineering drawings, and project specifications
  • Building accurate, competitive, and profitable cost estimates for fabrication projects
  • Creating and maintaining a detailed sales pricing list for Integrated Air products
  • Maintaining our estimating systems, pricing tools, and historical data

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a detail-focused Estimator with a strong background in fabrication or manufacturing, confident working with technical drawings and pricing complex steel or ductwork projects.

About you:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in estimating, ideally within structural steel, ductwork, or a similar metal fabrication environment
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience with AutoCAD 2D and 3D
  • Confidence using estimating software and advanced Excel skills
  • Direct experience with, and personal access to, Tempus Tools or an equivalent pricing/estimation software
  • A keen eye for detail and an organised, methodical approach
  • Excellent communication skills

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Familiarity with steel standards and fabrication processes
  • Specific experience in ductwork estimation or fabrication
  • A background in fabrication or manufacturing
  • An understanding of coatings, finishes, transport, and installation considerations
