The Role
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Sales Estimator to join the team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on, high-impact estimating role where you will price live fabrication projects and develop a robust, competitive pricing structure to support the sales function.
What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing tender packs, Engineering drawings, and project specifications
- Building accurate, competitive, and profitable cost estimates for fabrication projects
- Creating and maintaining a detailed sales pricing list for Integrated Air products
- Maintaining our estimating systems, pricing tools, and historical data
The Ideal Candidate
You will be a detail-focused Estimator with a strong background in fabrication or manufacturing, confident working with technical drawings and pricing complex steel or ductwork projects.
About you:
- At least 2 years' experience in estimating, ideally within structural steel, ductwork, or a similar metal fabrication environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with AutoCAD 2D and 3D
- Confidence using estimating software and advanced Excel skills
- Direct experience with, and personal access to, Tempus Tools or an equivalent pricing/estimation software
- A keen eye for detail and an organised, methodical approach
- Excellent communication skills
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Familiarity with steel standards and fabrication processes
- Specific experience in ductwork estimation or fabrication
- A background in fabrication or manufacturing
- An understanding of coatings, finishes, transport, and installation considerations
