As part of our continued expansion, we are looking to grow our team of experienced construction and liability adjusters based in the UK and across our international network of offices. The successful candidates will handle a diverse portfolio of construction and engineering claims (first and third party), ranging from mid-market to major and complex losses across owner arranged projects, and contractor annual policies. Working closely with Insurers, Brokers, Contractors and project stakeholders to deliver clear technical advice, claim management guidance and outstanding client service. These roles suit individuals who thrive on technical challenges, autonomy, and the chance to build strong relationships across the industry as part of a diverse and strong team of like-minded professionals. Integra operates on a pre-agreed hybrid working basis in our London head office and strategic global offices across Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific, and the Americas.

Key Responsibilities (dependent on seniority and expertise)

  • Managing construction (CAR / Builders’ Risk) and engineering (EAR) losses, including delay in start-up, from first notification through to settlement
  • Conduct site investigations, assess damage and scope, review policy coverage
  • Investigate cause of damage
  • Review of technical documentation
  • Review, audit and schedule cost documentation
  • Contract and Policy interpretation
  • Quantification and valuation of repairs/remedial measures
  • Prepare detailed, high-quality reports for insurers and reinsurers
  • Work collaboratively with specialist colleagues and external consultants
  • Technical presentations – case specific and external knowledge sharing
  • Travel to survey damage as well as meet with technical representatives
  • Contribute to Integra’s respected and leading publication, ‘Integrated’

Liabilities

  • Manage Personal Injury, Third Party Property damage, Product Liability, Pollution, Contamination and Environmental claims from first notification through to settlement
  • Conduct site investigations, determine both legal and policy liability, and assess quantum
  • Investigate cause of damage
  • Review of technical documentation
  • Review, audit and schedule cost documentation
  • Review audit and schedule medical reports, and invoices in terms of quantum
  • Knowledge of the Ministry of Justice claims portal for low value public liability injury losses
  • Contract and Policy interpretation
  • Quantification and valuation of repairs/remedial measures
  • Prepare detailed, high-quality reports for insurers and reinsurers
  • Work collaboratively with internal specialists and external experts
  • Technical presentations – case specific and external knowledge sharing
  • Travel to survey damage as well as meet with technical representatives
  • Contribute to Integra’s respected and leading publication, ‘Integrated’

Skills & Experience Required (All Roles)

  • Skilled and effective communicator both verbally and via reporting, and able to negotiate and discuss complex technical matters with individuals from all backgrounds and levels of seniority
  • Excellent spoken and written English – additional language would be an advantage
  • Calm under pressure and able to deliver on deadlines and able to think and react independently, finding solutions to complex technical problems and challenges
  • Ability to work in all Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Keeping well organised files, notes, records and accurate time keeping and expense records, as each assignment progresses

Remuneration

Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications. All the roles attract competitive packages negotiated with the successful candidates, including individual non-discretionary bonus structures paid 6 monthly, medical and life coverage.
