Rate: £28.00 – £30.00 per hour (depending on experience)
We are currently looking for an experienced Lifting Supervisor to join an established team working on a major HS2 project in Saltley, Birmingham.
Requirements
- CPCS A62 Lifting Supervisor – essential
- CPCS A40 – Slinger/Signaller – essential
- HS2 inducted – essential
- Valid SSSTS or SMSTS – essential
- Safety Critical Medical - essential
- Previous experience supervising lifting operations
- Strong understanding of lift plans
Duties
- Supervise lifting operations across site
- Ensure lifting activities are carried out safely and in accordance with approved lift plans
- Coordinate lifting teams, plant and site operatives
- Liaise with the Appointed Person and site management
- Check lifting equipment and relevant inspections
- Maintain safe exclusion zones and control lifting areas
- Ensure compliance with HS2 and site-specific procedures
