We are looking for a volunteer to help maintain and update the Integrate Hope website. This includes small updates, improving content, and linking our social media channels (such as Instagram) to keep our online presence active and engaging.
A well‑maintained website helps us showcase our programmes, reach new communities, and attract partners, volunteers, and funders. This volunteer will strengthen our digital presence and ensure Integrate Hope’s work supporting vulnerable communities is visible, accessible, and regularly updated online.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive, reliable, and creative volunteer who is comfortable working with websites and digital content. The ideal volunteer will have experience managing or updating websites using platforms such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar content management systems. They should feel confident making basic updates to pages, uploading content, editing text and images, and ensuring the website remains clear, engaging, and easy to navigate. Some experience with integrating social media feeds, particularly Instagram, into a website would be very valuable. Knowledge of basic SEO, website analytics, or improving user experience would also be beneficial, although this is not essential.
The most important qualities we are looking for are someone who is organised, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently while communicating clearly with our team. The volunteer should be comfortable suggesting small improvements that could strengthen the website’s impact and better showcase our work. We welcome volunteers who are passionate about community impact and social change. An interest in organisations that support women, families, and underserved communities would be especially meaningful, as Integrate Hope focuses on empowerment, wellbeing, and creating opportunities for those facing social barriers.
This role would suit someone who wants to use their digital skills to support a grassroots organisation and help ensure our programmes, stories, and impact are visible to the wider community. It may also be a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience working with a social enterprise or charity while building their portfolio.
What will you be doing?
The volunteer will support with maintaining and updating our website, including uploading content, editing pages, and ensuring information stays current. They will help integrate our social media channels (such as Instagram) into the website and improve the overall user experience. This role may also involve suggesting small improvements to design, layout, or navigation to better showcase our work and community impact.
