About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join our growing team, working across commercial and industrial sites in Essex, Kent, and London. You’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of automatic sliding, swing, and revolving doors — ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission automatic sliding, swing, and revolving doors
  • Carry out fault‑finding, repairs, and routine maintenance
  • Communicate clearly with customers and advise on any issues during site visits
  • Take part in an on‑call rota for emergency call‑outs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety on every job
  • Support and mentor junior team members when required

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working with automatic doors
  • Familiarity with leading brands such as Record, Dorma, Geze, etc.
  • Strong electrical knowledge
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Knowledge of ADSA / ADIA standards (BS7036 / EN16005)
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • Based in or near Essex, Kent, or London
