Role: Site Manager
Location: Staffordshire
Duration: 3-4 months
Hours: 50hrs/week Mon-Fri
The Role:
Due to recent major industrial construction and maintenance project wins, our client is looking to recruit an additional Site Manager on a cement plant in Staffordshire to oversee the installation of filter equipment. The role will be with an internationally renowned principal contractor and duties will include:
- Managing all aspects of the CDM programme on site
- Delivering the project within timescales and budget
- Responsibility for permits and RAMS
- Ensuring work is delivered within health and safety guidelines
- Effectively communicating with client and internal stakeholders
- Resolving any issues quickly and effectively
- Attending and running site meetings
- Managing site inductions
Requirements:
- CSCS black card / SMSTS
- CCNSG card
- Experience working for principal contractors on industrial construction / maintenance projects
- Experience of bag filter installation projects an advantage
- Relevant IT skills including the use of company software packages.
- Excellent communication, organisation, planning, problem solving and team work skills
