PAYE Pay Rates:
- Basic 1st 38 Hours Mon-Fri: £24.51/hr + Hol Pay
- O/T 1: £36.77/hr
- O/T 2: £49.02/hr
- Bonus: £2.37/hr (£0.80/hr Weekly, £1.57/hr Monthly)
- Lodge Allowance: £80.81/night
The Role:
Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for a QA Inspector for a large industrial site near Rochester, Kent. The role will involve inspections and testing of pipework, bolted structures and vessels and welding across the plant and recording quality results.
Duties will include:
- Maintaining safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Carrying out inspection requirement to clients internal & Approved Quality Plan/ITP
- Approving incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approving in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and dimensional measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor along with any concerns / issues.
- Approving finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
- Keeping measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
- Maintaining client relations
- Inputting to the labour performance matrix
- Forward planning
- Reviewing daily ongoing manufacture and highlight potential quality concerns / issues
- Ensuring communication with workforce and all relevant departments at all times.
- Ensuring completions Procedure is being utilised and implemented
- Maintain the necessary Quality Documentation records for timely handover
Requirements:
- CSCS/CCNSG CSWIP 3.1 of equivalent
- PCN HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience on large industrial sites
- QA/QC experience of final walkdown inspections on pipework and pressure vessels
- Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving projects goals whilst maintaining high standards in HSEQ at all times
- Knowledge of HSEQ safe working practices / procedures
- Able to interface and interact with client and principal contractor representatives at all levels
- Knowledge of permit to work systems
