The Role:
Our client is currently recruiting for an additional Project Manager for a major industrial maintenance contract on the largest refinery in the UK. The role will involve supporting and strengthening the existing on-site team, ensuring jobs are set up and carried out safely and on schedule.
Duties will include:
- Managing and securing the availability of project resources needed
- Preparing, initiating, and monitoring projects in accordance with the appropriate QSHE procedures
- Ensuring an optimum financial result and cost control of all projects and managing project-related financial aspects with client customers
- Negotiating with the customers during the re-assignment or modifications of the scope of work and/or contract
- Responsibility for safety, quality, and equipment management control
- Maintaining communication with supervisors/operational staff on a daily basis
- Maintaining regular contact and reporting to the UK Manager to establish action plans to ensure daily operations and the utilization of resources required to execute the projects
- Participating in the establishment of the client's annual policy plan and monitoring delegated topics of its implementation
- Evaluating projects and initiating operational improvements
- Attending meetings with our customers for periodic project assessments or complaints and participating in accident investigations if they occur
- Full engagement of site-specific safety system - LPS
- High field presence to ensure procedures and safety policies are being adhered to
- Responsibility for job efficiency, time, and tools
- Responsibility for planning and manning
- Housekeeping supervision of canteen, changing, and facilities
- Management of personnel
Requirements:
- Full driving license
- IOSH working safely (as a minimum)
