About the Role
We are seeking skilled and experienced Pipefitters to join our team working on ductwork and air conditioning systems. The role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of pipework and associated components to ensure high-quality and safe project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and fit ductwork and air conditioning systems according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Work with stainless steel pipework, including cutting, threading, bending, and welding/fabrication where required.
- Fit and secure flanges, gaskets, and other fittings to ensure leak-free connections.
- Use angle grinders, saws, and other power tools safely and effectively to prepare and finish pipework.
- Carry out inspections, testing, and troubleshooting on installed systems.
- Adhere to health & safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on site to deliver projects to schedule.
Qualifications & Skills
- NVQ Level 3 pipefitter
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter within ductwork and/or air conditioning projects.
- Strong knowledge of stainless steel pipework installation and associated tools.
- Hands-on experience with flanges, gaskets, and pressure testing.
- Confident in the safe use of angle grinders and other cutting/finishing tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
- Valid CSCS or equivalent card (preferred).
- Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeships (advantageous).
