Our client is currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a large industrial plant in Pembroke. The role will involve managing all aspects of the project by working closely with customers, vendors and subcontractors ensuring all aspects of quality and safety standards are met.
Duties will include:
- Reporting to the Director / Project Sponsor & General Manager to deliver a pro-active and improvement driven approach to project management.
- Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with the client by applying extensive and comprehensive knowledge of the organisations work processes, business practices and the roles of assigned project team.
- Planning, organising, directing and controlling all activities on assigned projects.
- Deploying continuous improvement approach to management.
- Managing staff training and disciplinary requirements.
- Providing accurate daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports / cost forecasts.
Requirements:
- Experience in the oil & gas industry with at least 5 years experience in a similar Project Management role.
- Excellent people management skills, capable of implementing effective performance measures and reporting processes.
- Experience in legislative and governing body procedures.
- Flexible and adaptable with strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Good leadership and organisational skills.
