One of the UK's key EPC Contractors operating within the Power Generation & Grid sectors, are searching for a P6 Planner to join their team on a long term contract basis.

The Role

We are searching for a Project Planner / P6 Planner / Scheduler to join their team. Our client is the EPC Contractor constructing a large scale grid station based in Gretna.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans and schedules
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and ensure timely completion
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays
  • Conduct regular meetings to review project status and address any issues or concerns
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Prepare and present reports on project performance, including key metrics and milestones
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Continuously improve planning processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Prior background in Planning for structural steel organisations on major projects up to £50 Million in size
  • Knowledge & use of Primavera P6 Package
