The Client: A leading mechanical company who specialise in operations and maintenance projects on power.
The Role: Our client currently has requirements for additional Operatives on a power station near Nottingham. The role will involve joining the operations and maintenance team on site and duties will include:
- Undertaking operational tasks assisting with coal deliveries and bunker operations, and cleaning and visual inspections of conveyor systems.
- Observing plant operations to identify and address faults.
- Limestone train delivery reception.
- Banksman duties, coordinating lorries and drivers.
- Industrial cleaning of operational areas.
- Operation of 360 Excavators / Loading Shovels (training can be provided).
- Ash Grab Crane operations (training will be provided).
Requirements:
- Experience of operating a range of mobile plant is preferred.
- CCNSG card preferred.
- Positive attitude to safety on site.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Excellent time keeping and punctuality.
