The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Agent to support the delivery of a Pump House project in Nottinghamshire. The role will be site-based and focused on day-to-day management, quality control and coordination of works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, compliantly and to specification.
This is a key role on a live water infrastructure project, requiring prior experience within the Severn Trent framework environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day site management and coordination of subcontractors and operatives
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high quality standard
- Strong focus on quality control, inspections and sign-off of completed works
- Managing permits, RAMS and site documentation
- Liaising with project management, engineers and client representatives
- Overseeing temporary works and ensuring compliance with approved designs
- Managing street works activities where required
- Supporting mechanical and electrical installation activities where applicable
Required Experience & Certifications
- Proven experience working on Severn Trent projects (essential)
- SMSTS (essential)
- Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator (essential)
- Street Works (NRSWA) certification (essential)
- Strong background in water or wastewater infrastructure projects
Desirable / Nice to Have
- Confined Space certification
- Mechanical and/or Electrical project experience
- Previous pump station or pump house project exposure
