Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for a QA QC Inspector for a large industrial site in Norwich. The role will involve inspections and testing of pipework, vessels and welding across the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing quality plans, inspection and test plans and supporting QA documentation.
- Providing quality related technical support for projects / maintenance.
- Reviewing vendor/supplier quality plans and inspection and test plans.
- Co-ordinating and advising guidance on material certification, welding, NDT and other quality requirements.
- Ensuring all installation works are carried out in accordance with the final walkdown checklist.
- Assisting in ensuring that all project and company HSEQ goals are achieved.
- Effective communication with any client and / or principal contractor representatives.
- Demonstrating visible safety leadership by example and communication with teams.
- Continuously reviewing and referring to walkdown checklist / workpacks / drawings to ensure workscopes have been executed as planned. Escalating any identified issues to client.
Requirements:
- HNC/HND in an Engineering Discipline (preferred).
- Welding Inspector (PCN or CSWIP).
- Radiography Interpretation (PCN or CSWIP).
- Minimum 2 years experience on large industrial sites.
- CSCS / CCNSG.
Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience:
- QA/QC experience of final walkdown inspections on pipework and pressure vessels.
- Delivery focused with proven experience in achieving projects goals whilst maintaining high standards in HSEQ at all times.
- Knowledge of HSEQ safe working practices / procedures.
- Able to interface and interact with client and principal contractor representatives at all levels.
- Knowledge of permit to work systems.
