Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for Rigger Supervisors on behalf of our client for an industrial shutdown near Northwich, Cheshire.
Duties will include:
- Leading and supervising a team of riggers, assigning tasks, and providing guidance as needed.
- Ensuring that all rigging operations comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Developing and implementing rigging plans and procedures for each project, considering factors such as load requirements, equipment specifications, and site conditions.
- Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that rigging activities are integrated smoothly into overall project schedules.
- Monitoring equipment usage and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Maintaining accurate records of rigging activities, including equipment inspections, incident reports, and personnel certifications.
- Serving as a point of contact for client inquiries and concerns regarding rigging operations.
Requirements:
- CCNSG card
- NVQ 3 or equivalent in Moving Loads / Opito 3/4AP/A61
- Lifting Equipment Inspection
- Previous experience in the heavy engineering industry; Power, O&G, Petrochemical, Renewables etc.
