Job Purpose
To provide general site support on a new build industrial project, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials, lifting of equipment, and maintaining site cleanliness. The role requires a proactive, safety-conscious individual with a valid Medium Risk Confined Space Certificate.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely move and handle construction materials and equipment around site.
- Operate lifting equipment and assist with manual handling tasks as required.
- Carry out general labouring duties including site cleaning, waste removal, and maintaining safe access routes.
- Support trades and site management with ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Enter and work within confined spaces in line with safety procedures and certification requirements.
- Follow all site health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
- Report any hazards, incidents, or unsafe practices immediately.
Requirements
- Previous experience working on construction or industrial sites (desirable).
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
