Permanent Position, Full Time (38 hours a week) Monday Thursday 08:00 16:30, Friday 08:00 14:00.
Basic Annual Salary: £50,000 per annum

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Working in the field of electro-mechanical engineering in the power industry, GKW are looking to employ a skilled and motivated workforce and provide public and private sector clients with a fully integrated approach to all stages of design, manufacture and installation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to experience nuclear, construction, and power system projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Increasing productivity and efficiency of output of the manufacturing works in GKW
- Monitor and control of productivity in the manufacturing work in GKW
- Management and execution of all manufacturing projects and processes
- Management of Workshop supervisor and all works within the Workshop
- Undertaking performance reviews for your team and reporting to Directors on outcomes
- Provide the workshop with accurate and detailed Work Order Cards following drawings and designs
- Control all Work Order Cards that are issued to the Workshop with control and in the company’s best interests
- Liaising with Planning Manager to ensure all Production and Resource is aligned
- Transfer of Programmes for manufacturing planning to add processes and details required for progress reports
- Liaising with Project Managers and designers
- Ensuring quality is maintained throughout the manufacturing process via GKW quality systems
- Control and Inspection of incoming goods
- Control and Management of Stock Records
- Liaising with external inspection bodies
- Control of the asset of the Workshop in GKW
- Maintenance of Machinery and building
- Maintenance of Vehicles
- Consumables and Auxiliary equipment stock levels (Gas, Consumables, Welding Supplies)
- Control of all improvements and upkeep of the Workshop
- Control of all Training requirement in a manufacturing capacity
- Control of all Welding Testing and Procedures
- Control of Welding Fume and Local extraction regulations
- Working in accordance with Health, Safety, and Environment to ensure that work complies with all necessary business requirements and procedures
