Hours: Approx 7:30-17:00, Mon-Fri

PAYE Pay Rate: Mon-Fri, All Hours: £32.50/hr (Including £3.49/hr Holiday Pay)

Lodge Allowance: £55.00/day

The Role: Integrate Engineering Resources is currently recruiting for a NACE / ICORR Level 2 Coatings Inspector for a highways paint inspection contract in East London. The role will involve inspection of highways painting and coatings on steel and structures, inspecting surfaces for contaminants and defects, evaluating coatings according to specifications, company standards and industry regulations, and documenting inspection results.

Duties will include:

  • Inspect surface preparation and coating application on various structures and equipment
  • Check for contaminants and ensure adherence to safety regulations
  • Assess and evaluate coating conditions and durability
  • Document findings and prepare detailed reports on inspection results
  • Communicate inspection results and recommendations to clients and team members
  • Assist in developing inspection procedures and standards
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:

  • NACE / ICORR level 2 certificate
  • CSCS card
  • Own basic inspection equipment (DFT gauge)
  • Knowledge of the Highways painting practices
  • Strong knowledge of paint and coating materials, application techniques, and inspection methods
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
