Position Overview:
As the QC Manager for our Turbine Pipework Project, working on a new build Energy from Waste plant in Leeds, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing quality control procedures during the construction phase, ensuring that all work adheres to the highest standards of quality for all aspects of welding and installation of associated Pipework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage quality control procedures and processes throughout the turbine construction project.
- Collaborate closely with the construction team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor and document all aspects of the construction work to ensure it meets the required quality specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations from quality standards.
- Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to promptly resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain meticulous records of quality control activities, test results, and corrective actions.
- Develop and implement quality control plans, protocols, and procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to construction staff on quality control best practices.
