About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to support a short-term power generation project based in South London. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing all HSE aspects of the project to ensure full compliance with current legislation, company standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all HSE activities on-site, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE management systems, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training as required.
- Support the project team with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting.
- Liaise with site teams, contractors, and clients to promote a positive HSE culture throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is up to date and readily available for audits or inspections.
- Split between office based and site based work.
- Will be leading the HSE scope on site.
