Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working General Operatives to support the successful delivery of a new build industrial project. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining site cleanliness, assisting tradespeople, and supporting general site operations to ensure the project runs safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General site clean-up, including removal of waste, sweeping, and tidying work areas
  • Assisting with the movement and organisation of materials and equipment around the site
  • Supporting skilled tradespeople as required (e.g., holding materials, fetching tools)
  • Ensuring walkways and work zones are clear and hazard-free
  • Helping with basic manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading deliveries
  • Following all health and safety procedures on site
  • Reporting any issues or hazards to the Site Manager or Supervisor

Requirements:

  • Previous experience on construction sites preferred
  • CSCS card (valid and in date)
  • Pass D&A Test
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
  • Punctual and reliable
