The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Appointed Person for a major installation project on an EFW power station near Ellesmere Port Cheshire. The role will involve designing and overseeing the lifting and positioning of turbines, pipework, general plant and machinery ensuring all operations comply with safety regulations and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and write RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and Lift Plans for complex lifting operations.
Provide on-site support and coordination to ensure safe execution of all lifting activities.
Liaise with the main contractor and project stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to site protocols.
Oversee aspects of site management, including logistics and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Work closely with lifting teams, crane operators, and supervisors to ensure best practices are followed.
