The Role: Our client has a requirement for Plater / Welders for a shutdown on a cement plant in Dunbar, Scotland from Mon 26th Jan for a 3-4 week shutdown.
Duties will include:
- Using oxyacetylene burning equipment to remove sections of plate
- Setting out, marking and cutting steel plate
- Repairing heat distorted steel plate
- Plate, pipe, channel and bracket repairs
- MMA welding on mild steel plate
Requirements:
- CCNSG card
- NVQ / City & Guilds qualification
- Confined Space Entry certificate
- Experience of working on industrial sites ie power stations, refineries, steelworks
