The Role:
Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor on behalf of our client, a market leader in mechanical installation and maintenance works on industrial sites. The work will include:
- Co-ordination of mechanical installation and maintenance of mechanical components and supporting steelwork
- Supervising a mechanical team and ensuring that health and safety is being adhered to at all times
- Conducting toolbox talks, ordering materials, completing schedules of work, scheduling materials to ensure programme of works delivered.
- Liaise with Managers on a regular basis, reporting on any and all works conducted on site.
- Ensuring the quality of the installation was of a high standard.
- Carrying out site surveys.
- Ensuring the installation was snag free.
- Paperwork management; RFI's, method statements, risk assessments, permits to work, site diaries, progress reports.
Requirements:
- City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Fitting
- CSCS / CCNSG
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- Previous experience in a supervisory / management role
- Previous experience of working on industrial installation and maintenance projects
