Job Title: Crane Supervisor – Slinger/Signaller
Location: Isle of Grain
Salary: PAYE – £27.00 per hour Monday to Friday – £33 per hour Weekends – £50 per day lodge allowance
Start Date: Monday 7th April 3-4 week contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a Crane Supervisor to oversee lifting operations on a new build industrial project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all lifting activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all lifting operations on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with the Appointed Person, crane operators, and site management to plan and execute lifts.
• Ensure all lifting equipment is properly inspected, maintained, and used correctly.
• Conduct pre-lift meetings and toolbox talks to ensure the lifting team understands procedures.
• Assess risks and implement control measures to prevent accidents.
• Monitor site activities and report any safety concerns or non-compliance issues.
• Keep accurate records of lifting operations, including risk assessments and permits to lift.

Requirements:

• A62 Crane Supervisor ticket (NPORS/CPCS).
• Proven experience as a Crane Supervisor on industrial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, health and safety regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
