Rate: Β£27.00 per hour Monday to Friday. Β£33.95 per hour weekend - PAID

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crane/Lift Supervisor to lead our industrial project team in safe and efficient lifting operations. As a Crane/Lift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all crane and lifting activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating with various teams, and maintaining optimal workflow on the project site.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Coordination: Lead, manage, and coordinate crane operators, riggers, slingers, and other team members involved in lifting operations.
  • Safety Oversight: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and company policies related to lifting operations. Conduct regular safety briefings and promote a safety-conscious culture among the team.
  • Lifting Plans: Develop comprehensive lifting plans and risk assessments for complex or critical lifts, considering load weights, equipment selection, rigging techniques, and site conditions.
  • Equipment Inspection: Ensure all lifting equipment, cranes, slings, and accessories are in good working condition through regular inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate lift plans, safety guidelines, and expectations to all team members involved in lifting activities. Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions and maximize efficiency.
