PAYE Rate - £22.50 first 40 hours - £26.00 per hour after 40 hours

Hours - 07:00-17:00 - Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Coded TIG 141 Welder with expertise in working with carbon steel pipework. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing precise welds, ensuring the structural integrity and quality of carbon steel pipework components in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Welding Expertise: Perform TIG 141 welding on carbon steel pipework with precision, adhering to industry codes and standards.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures to understand project requirements.
  • Material Preparation: Prepare and clean materials, ensuring proper fit-up and alignment of carbon steel pipes before welding.
  • Quality Assurance: Execute and maintain high-quality welds, conducting visual inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including fabricators, inspectors, and project managers, to ensure seamless coordination and integration of welding activities into the overall project.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including material usage, weld parameters, and any deviations from welding procedures.
