Job Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working General Operatives to support the successful delivery of a new build industrial project. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining site cleanliness, assisting tradespeople, and supporting general site operations to ensure the project runs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- General site clean-up, including removal of waste, sweeping, and tidying work areas
- Assisting with the movement and organisation of materials and equipment around the site
- Supporting skilled tradespeople as required (e.g., holding materials, fetching tools)
- Ensuring walkways and work zones are clear and hazard-free
- Helping with basic manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading deliveries
- Following all health and safety procedures on site
- Reporting any issues or hazards to the Site Manager or Supervisor
Requirements
- Previous experience on construction sites preferred
- CSCS card (valid and in date)
- Pass D&A Test
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
